He was predeceased by: his parents, Leroy Britt and Maggie Davis Britt; his wife Frances Marie Britt; his son David Leroy Britt; and his siblings, Orville Britt, Earlene Ashley and Wynell Beard.

He is survived by: his daughter Debbie Lynn Brown (Ricky); his grandchildren, Danielle Graham and Devin Glover; and his great grandchildren, Autumn Graham, Miles Graham, Addilynn Glover, Mason Glover and Dekland Glover. He is also survived by other family members and friends.
