It is with great sadness that we announce the death of April Michelle Smith of Wesson, Mississippi, born in Brookhaven, Mississippi, who passed away on October 8, 2023, at the age of 45, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her parents, Sherman Leroy Smith and Frances Elaine Daniel Smith; her children, Tristen Toby Dillon, Kaylen Smith and Alexis Michell Blackwell; her siblings, Mark Smith, Carey Banks, Jr., Patti Boyte and Alecia Smith; her grandchildren, MaKiya, Kaiser, Kingston and Alaiyah; and her friends, Rebecca Moll, Kayla Haas and Kellye Sicks. She is also survived by other loving family members and friends.
