He is survived by: his wife Julie Prewitt Burton of Weir, MS; his siblings, Jane Wood (Paul) of Louisville, Nancy Nail (Mike) of Stewart, MS, David Burton (Sonrisa) of Brandon, MS, Ron Gregg of Grenada and Perry Gregg (Shauna) of Senatobia, MS; and his cousins, Barbara Threet and Dewayne Henning.
