He was predeceased by: his parents, Clinton Whitehead and Viva Whitehead; and his brother Jimmy Whitehead of Buckeye, AZ.. He is survived by: his children, Ann Nestler (Douglas) of Greenville, Richard Whitehead (Judy) of Meridian, MS and Wayne Whitehead (Gale) of Mendenhall, MS; his sister Patricia Rose Crenshaw of Russell, MS; and his grandchildren, Tabetha Gentry (John), Tiffany Lindsey, Julie Jackson (Jimmy), Jessica Presley (Calvin), Jennifer Phillips (Slater), Matthew Whitehead and Holley Richardson (Camron). He is also survived by seven great grandchildren.
