We are sad to announce that on December 13, 2024, at the age of 97, Willard Holcomb of Waynesboro, Mississippi passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William W. Freeman and Carrie Burge Freeman; her husband Louis Holcomb, Sr.; her sons, Willard "Woody" Holcomb and Louis "Lou" Franklin Holcomb, Jr.; and her siblings, Don Freeman, Harry B. Freeman and Jane Freeman.
She is survived by: her daughter Cheryl Holcomb Holley (Larry P.) of Foley, AL; her granddaughters, Sheila Rene Jordan of Atlanta, GA and Jessica Lynn Jordan of Sunset Beach, NC; her great grandchildren, Gunnar Blake Jordan, Coleton Louis Jordan, Braiden Nathaniel Hollingsworth and Remington Lynn Goodfriend; her nephew Harrel Freeman (Carlton); and her niece Emily Freeman. She is also survived by great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Freeman Funeral Home (1305 Skyland Dr, Waynesboro, MS 39367). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 at the Waynesboro Cemetery.
