He was predeceased by: his parents, Dan Parnell and Alice Parnell; and his siblings, Grady Dale Parnell, Jerry Dan Parnell, Jancis Pippen, Doris Bunch, Peggy Mozingo and Shelia Stuart.
He is survived by: his children, Phillip Parnell, James Parnell, Teresa Parnell Moore and Donna Parnell Hatcher; his sister Frances James; and his sister-in-law Kim Parnell. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews.
