He was predeceased by: his former wife Gail Overstreet; his son Eric Overstreet; his parents, Braze Overstreet and Gertrude Overstreet; and his sister Genetta Lawson.
He is survived by: his wife Joy Lynn Brewer Overstreet; his stepdaughters, Kolena Wilson (Austin) of Richton and Breanna Gregg (Gerritt); his grandchildren, Lexi Freeman of Michaela Freeman, J. C, Henserling, Clay Gregg, Landon Minter, Jaxon Daley and Kash Wilson; his sisters, Shelia Barnett (George) and Retta Barnett; his nephew Ryan Barnett (Tanya); his niece Dr. Tekla Fowler (Brandan) of Auburn, AL; his great-nephews, Wyatt Barnett and Connor Barnett; and his great-niece Avery Fowler.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM at the Jones & Son Funeral Home-Richton (104 Cypress St, Richton, MS 39476). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
