She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Moselle Moore and Margarett Mae Nance; her husband James E. Johnson; and her brother Earl Moore. She is survived by: her children, Ernest E. Johnson of Waynesboro, MS, Andrew L. Johnson (Chasity) of Waynesboro, MS and Nita Jeanette Johnson of Prairieville, LA; her brother Donald Lee Moore of Seattle, WA; her grandchildren, Abbigail, Ashlyn, Drake, William, Zechariah, Christian, Katie, Hunter, Devin and Kacie; and her great grandchildren, Sophia, Raelynn, Emery, Aria Kate and Addison.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Freeman Funeral Home (1305 Skyland Dr, Waynesboro, MS 39367). A funeral service was held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Liberty Baptist Church (485 Old Hwy 84 Rd, Waynesboro, MS 39367). A burial was held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 at the Liberty Cemetery (485 Old Hwy 84 Rd, Waynesboro, MS 39367).
