Katy Kittrell Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Katy Kittrell (Waynesboro, Mississippi), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 27, 2025 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Katy departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Katy. Though Katy may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Maggie Lee and Frank Sandy; and her husband L. N. Kittrell, II. She is survived by: her daughter Jessie Burgess (Terry Joe); her grandsons, T. J. Burgess (Andi) and Justin Burgess (Angie); and her great grandchildren, Ellie, Emmie, Andrew, John and James.
A graveside service was held on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the County Line Baptist Church.
