It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jeanette Street of Waynesboro, Mississippi, who passed away on March 23, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Jeanette Street to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her husband Roland N. Street; her parents, Bonnie Christine and Bodie Lee Arnold; her stepsons, John B. Street and Phillip Craig Street; and her sisters, Lillian Janelle Hall, Catherine Hammack and Winnie Ruth Finley.
She is survived by: her children, Roland S. Street, Anthony R. Cheeks (Autumn), Richard Darryl Cheeks (Jean), Michael Cheeks (Suzanne) and Cindy Cheeks; her siblings, Arthur Glen Arnold and Thelma Beard (Grady) of Waynesboro, MS; her grandchildren, Ashley Green (Timmy), April Case (Justin), Nichole Pugh (Robbie), Tristan Street, Stephen Street and Ella B. Street; her great grandchildren, Katie, Jacob, Megan and Shiloh; and her great great grandchildren, Jay Briggs and Casey. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 26th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Freeman Funeral Home (1305 Skyland Dr, Waynesboro, MS 39367). A funeral service was held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Freeman Funeral Home Chapel (1305 Skyland Dr, Waynesboro, MS 39367). A burial was held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 at the Waller Ridge Cemetery.
