It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy L. Kellum of Waynesboro, Mississippi, who passed away on February 11, 2025, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Annie Mae and Walter Lee Cheeks; her husband R. L. Kellum; her son Larry Kellum; and her brothers, Raymon Cheeks and Edward Cheeks.
She is survived by: her son Charles Kellum of Buckatunna, MS; her sister Ruth Graham of Pascagoula, MS; her grandchildren, Kathy Leigh Boe (Trey), Kevin Lee Kellum and Larry Keith Kellum (LeeAnne); her great grandchildren, Heather Nolen (Shane), Kody Chance, Haley Kellum, Karlyn Kellum and Audrey Kellum; and her great great grandchildren, Alli Nolen, Chance Nolen, Walker Nolen and Raylan "R. L." Nolen.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Freeman Funeral Home (1305 Skyland Dr, Waynesboro, MS 39367). A funeral service was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Freeman Funeral Home Chapel (1305 Skyland Dr, Waynesboro, MS 39367). A burial was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 at the Serenity Gardens Cemetery.
