It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Barbara G. McCarty of Waynesboro, Mississippi, who passed away on March 16, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James A. Cochran and Ruby Lee Beard; her siblings, Jimmy Cochran, Charles Adams, Linda Cox and Alice Scarbrough; and her great grandchild McKenzye McCarty.
She is survived by: her husband William Clifford McCarty; her children, Craig McCarty (Vanessa), Tillmon McCarty (Regina) and Amanda Parker (Robert) of Waynesboro, MS; her siblings, Dennis Cochran of Mobile, AL, Martha Morris (Roy) of Mobile, AL and Kathie Abercrombie (Terry) of Taylorsville, MS; and her grandchildren, Matthew McCarty (Joslin), Ryan McCarty (Megan), Bridgette Jordan (Jeremy), Corey McCarty (Christy), Alex McCarty, Reggie Parker (Camille), Lakisha West (Robert), Brandi Freeman (Dustin) and Brianna Smith (Kaleb). She is also survived by 20 great grandchildren, a host of nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Little Rock Cemetery.
