She was predeceased by: her parents, Tom Hickey, Sr. and Polly Ann Creasy Hickey; her husband Sherman Rogers, Sr.; her son Sherman Rogers, Jr. (Butch); her grandsons, Tory Sanders and Raiteri Rogers; and her siblings, JB Carter, Henry Carter, Tom Hickey, Jr., Matthew Hickey, Levi Creasy and Flossie Kerr.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Rogers, Gloria Jackson, Ginger Walton (Thomas), Joyce Jenkins (Leonard), Carolyn Rogers, Sharon Sanders (Cornel), Lynda Rogers and Dahlia Rogers; her brother-in-law Lucius Rogers (Carlene); and her close friend Betty Ward. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren, many nephews and nieces and so many friends.
