She was predeceased by: her parents, William Otha and Sula Mae Raper; her husband Earl Cox; her daughters, Elaine Wilson, Kathy Cox and Sherry Potts; her grandson Frederick Potts; her great grandchild Nathaniel Reeves; and her siblings, Ola Mae Lindsey, Jewell McCary, Lois Raper, Alfred Johnson, Clyde Raper, Jack Raper, Paul Raper and Lee Raper.
She is survived by: her daughter Teresa Pennington (Thomas) of Pensacola, FL; her grandchildren, Pala Reeves (Clarke) of Water Valley, Dawn Gray (Scott) of Water Valley, Tiffany Potts and Jenni James (Tres); her great grandchildren, Chance Reeves (Whitney), Carl Potts (Hannah), Kara Gray, Lexi Pate, Kala Gray, Shawn Pate, Jada Mary James and Paige Gray Weaver; and her great great grandchildren, Braxton Reeves, Elaina Reeves, Ezekiel Potts, Darby Potts and Kruze Myers. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
