He was predeceased by: his parents, Leon Courtney Dunn and Lucy Margaret Sprouse Dunn; and his children, Becky Deaton and Patrick John Dunn. He is survived by: his wife Mollie Dunn; his daughter Jennifer Shempert (Chad); his grandchildren, Cody Deaton, Blake Deaton (Jewel), Tyler Dunn (Ginger), Jonathan Dunn, Tanner Shempert, Austin Shempert and Braden Shempert; his great grandchildren, Caroline Dunn, Mickinley Deaton, Waylon Deaton and Ava Kate Dunn; his brothers, William Dunn (Susan), Gene Dunn (Loretta), Franklin Dunn (Shirley) and Mickell Dunn (Karen); and his children-in-law, Larry Wayne Deaton and Rhonda Dunn. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
