It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Janet Stark of Water Valley, Mississippi, born in Vardaman, Mississippi, who passed away on July 4, 2020, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Everett Akins and Donie Akins (Reedy); and her brother Kenny Akins. She is survived by: her husband Charles Stark; her children, Phillip Stark (Carla) of Horn Lake, MS, David Stark of Oxford, MS, Tracy Stark (Richelle) of Corinth, MS and Tammy McGovern (Martin) of Rockwall, TX; and her brothers, J. W. Akins of Mantee, MS and Tony Akins of Coffeeville, MS. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
