He was predeceased by: his parents, John Russell Anthony and Mable Mathis Anthony (Mathis); his brother James Rayford "Jimmy" Anthony; and his mother-in-law Mary J "Jackie" Smith. He is survived by: his wife Claudia Smith Anthony; his siblings, Claud R Anthony (Nancy) of Water Valley, Mary Dickey of Saltillo, Jeanette Whitehead of Water Valley and Alex; his sisters-in-law, Sue Smith of Oakland and Patti Johansen Anthony of Ohio; and his pets, Morgan, Daisy, Eli, Otis and Maggie. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
