He was predeceased by: his sons, Randy S. Tidwell and Ricky Tidwell; and his siblings, Lorene Smith and Elvis Tidwell. He is survived by: his wife Carmita K. Tidwell of Water Valley, MS; his daughters, Debra Kaufman of Oxford, MS and Donna Redmond (Ivory) of Gulfport, MS; and his sister Dovie Porter of Oxford. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.
