It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lavonia B. Treloar (Water Valley, Mississippi), born in Starkville, Mississippi, who passed away on July 2, 2019, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Filmore Betterton and Denola Betterton; her husband James G. "Buster" Treloar; her sons-in-law, Clark Strain and Monty Eaves; and her siblings, Donald Betterton and Louise Murphree.
She is survived by: her children, Suzy Strain of Tupelo, MS, Jimmy (Patricia) of Oxford, MS, Jane Gray Benton (Ed) of The Villages, FL and Jack (Debbie) of Mantee, MS; and her grandchildren, Josie Strain, Gray Strain (Christie), Jeffrey Treloar (Tricia), Steven Treloar (Christi), John Eaves (Katie), Brooke Bobber (Ryan), Jason Treloar (Susan) and Justin Treloar (Leigh). She is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren.
