She was predeceased by: her parents, Hosea Joiner and Marine Joiner; and her siblings, Dorette Webb, Verdie Lee Joiner, Alvin Joiner, David Joiner and Roy Jones.
She is survived by: her children, Donna Woodard of Batesville, MS, Jennifer Adams of Batesville, MS, Tracey Adams (Brenda) of Charlotte, NC, Epsi James Adams of Batesville, MS and Curtis Adams (Aisha) of Statham, GA.; her grandchildren, Chiquita, Latoya, Katelyn and William; her sisters, Ernestine Copeland (Fred) of Lakeland, FL and Lorraine Williams of New Orleans, LA; and her sisters-in-law, Brenda Joiner of Batesville, MS, Essie Joiner of Batesville, MS, Betty Joiner Morgan of Batesville, MS and Betty Jones of Oxford, MS.. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
