He is survived by: his wife Alice Jean Woods Sossaman of Coffeeville; his children, Krista McFerrin (Clay) of Charleston, Billy Sossaman of Water Valley, Johnny Sossaman of Coffeeville and Terry Sossaman (Theresa) of New Albany; his son-in-law Kelly Mills of Cordova, Tenn.; his siblings, Ann Woodard (Richard) of Byhalia, Edna Woods Cook (Charles) of Marks, Louise Richardson (Roger) of Charleston, Linda Leake (Marvin) of Hattiesburg, Jim Sossaman of Batesville, Albert Sossaman (Sarah) of Coffeeville, Willie Sossaman of Moscow, Robert Sossaman and Mike Sossaman of Teasdale; his sisters-in-law, Joyce Sossaman of Coffeeville and Dorothy Rayburn of Sardis; his grandchildren, Brandon McFerrin of Charleston, Kelsey Bright (Ryan) of Charleston, Addison Sossaman of Water Valley and Ethan Sossaman of Water Valley; and his great grandchildren, Harper of Charleston, Beckett of Charleston, Baylor of Charleston and Ryder Bright of Charleston. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
