It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jay Leake (Water Valley, Mississippi), born in Oxford, Mississippi, who passed away on August 17, 2019, at the age of 54, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Ray Leake; and his grandparents, Charlie Leake, Q'Milla Leake, Toy Clark and Lenna Clark.
He is survived by: his wife Susan Meriwether Leake; his children, Alex Leake of Oxford and Rebecca Leake of Water Valley; his mother Lynn Bennett; and his stepfather Ray Bennett of Oxford.
