He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Clyde McMinn and Faye Ward McMinn; his brother Jim; his children, Kevin McMinn of Saltillo, MS, Brittany Crosby (Matthew) of Ellisville, MS and Jeremy McMinn (Morgan Sanford) of Starkville, MS.; his grandchildren, Conner Crosby, Aubree Crosby and Jack Crosby; his brother Bill McMinn; and his extended family, Mike Gilliland, Tina Gilliland, Michael Gilliland and Steffanie Ellis. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to First Baptist Church, Mathiston, MS or Jumper's Chapel, Water Valley MS.
