She was predeceased by: her father Clarence Johnson; and her siblings, Hazel Mooney, Chester Johnson, Elnor Womble and Kenneth Johnson.
She is survived by: her sons, Norman Jones (Barbara) of Baton Rouge, LA and Bob Jones (Katherine) of Water Valley; and her grandchildren, Ben Jones of Oxford, Heath Jones (Courtney) of Ooltewah, TN, Lauren Serpas (Jason) of Baton Rouge, Breck Jones (Jessica) of Oxford and Autumn Swinkowski (John) of Water Valley. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations in her honor be made to Bethel Baptist Church where she was a member for 89 years.
