He is survived by: his wife Janet Telford; his children, Vernon Demetric Rogers, George Rogers (Lisa), Casey Telford (Angelica Lewis) and Leandrea Townsend (Tekelvue); his siblings, Helen Gooch, Shirley Sims (Charles), Wilton Telford (Martha), Lula Caldwell (Johnny), John Eddie Telford, Bobbie Phillips and Patsy McLeod (Rodrick); his grandchildren, Casey Telford Jr., Makylan Telford, Tekeluve Townsend Jr., Ethan Townsend, Matycia Murphy, Jertavious Washington, Xavier Lewis and Shadajai Henderson; his great grandchildren, Aiden Pritchard, Matison Battle, Avri Rose Washington and Za'Nova Lewis; and his in-laws, Vernon Rogers, Charles Rogers (Angela), Tommy Rogers, Donna Blake (Terry) and Kenneth Rogers George.
