He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Bolen and Vernie Lou Bolen (Berry); and his siblings, Bud Bolen, Jane Jenkins and Patsy Barnett.
He is survived by: his wife Miriam Bolen; his children, Samantha Bolen of Sardis and Jeremy Bolen (Shea) of Water Valley; and his brothers, William Bolen of Strayhorn and Wayne Bolen of Crenshaw.
