It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elizabeth Melton of Water Valley, Mississippi, born in Gunnison, Colorado, who passed away on April 3, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Avery Streeter and Frieda Streeter (Hembree); her husband Donald Melton; and her sister Patty Lynn Streeter. She is survived by: her children, Billy Melton and Missy Koonce (Ira); her grandchildren, Trey Koonce and Sarah Koonce; her sister Laura Patterson; her close friend Joanna Kirkwood; and her caregiver Geneva Clark.
