It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Marie Atkinson (Water Valley, Mississippi), who passed away on April 28, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Johnson and Lila Mae Johnson (Blaker); her brother Herman Johnson; and her son-in-law Wayne Harris. She is survived by: her children, Gloria Riggs (Keith Kodera), Linda Godbold (Jim), Lisa Harris, David Atkinson (Sara) and Kim Kelly; and her siblings, Harold Johnson (Christy) and Carolyn Hazel (Jack). She is also survived by seven grandchildren; and thirteen great-grandchildren.
