He was predeceased by: his wife Glenda Oaks; his parents, Elwin Oaks and Adeline Oaks; and his sisters, Betty Crosswhite and Judy Oaks Cornelius.
He is survived by: his brothers, Calvin Oaks of Sardis, MS, Jerry Oaks of Gore Springs, MS and Algie Oaks of Crosby, TX. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
