She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Hutchins and Anna Hutchins (Moorehead); her husband James Smith; and her foster parents, George Rico and Ann Rico.
She is survived by: her siblings, Joe Rico of Water Valley and Cindy Pittman (Mack) of Batesville, MS; and her aunt Carolyn Hutchins of Water Valley. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
