He was predeceased by: his father Jesse Wallace; and his siblings, Jesse Wallace Jr., Jim Wallace and Leona Pearl McFarlane. He is survived by: his wife Mavis Wallace; his children, Kenny Wallace (Cindy), Julie Wallace, Dennis Wallace (Amella) and Donna Wallace; his stepsons, Kenny Harmon (Marva) and Michael Harmon; and his brothers, Ron Wallace and Mike Lamberton. He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren: fifteen great grandchildren.
