He is survived by: his sons, Joe Smith (Carol) of Oakland and Aaron E. "Gene" Smith of Oakland; his grandchildren, Bettye Durham (Saxon) of Bartlett and James "Jamie" Smith (Joyce) of Pontotoc, Mississippi; his great grandchildren, Chandler Durham, Gabriel Durham of Bartlett, Matthew Smith, Madison Smith of Booneville and Hunter Smith of Coffeeville, Mississippi; and also Liam Durham of Cordova, Tennessee..
Visitation was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Seven Oaks Funeral Home (12760 Hwy 32, Water Valley, MS 38965). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM and at 12:00 PM at the same location.
