He is survived by: his wife Anna Barnes Brown of Walnut; his daughters, Abigail of Walnut, Phebe Brown of Walnut, Lia of Walnut, Sydney of Walnut and Jordan Rogers of Walnut; his sister Missy Rhodes (Matt) of Rienzi; his niece Madeline Rhodes; and the mother of his children Jackie Hastings Brown.
