We are sad to announce that on February 18, 2021, at the age of 73, Jimmy Wayne Smith of Walnut, Mississippi passed away. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Smith and Hermie Taylor Smith; his sons, Tim Smith and Jeffery Smith; and his siblings, Elizabeth Dawson, Opal Rowell and Charles Smith (Sonny).

He is survived by: his daughters, Sara Hadala of Florida and Patsy Smith of Florida; his stepdaughter Sheba Crabb of Olive Branch, MS; his close friend Gracie Ann McAnally of Walnut, MS; and his sisters, Sara Parker of Osecola, AR, Betty Putt of Ocala, FL and Patsy Avery of Cordova, TN. He is also survived by eight grandchildren.
