It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gary Lee Cardwell of Walnut, Mississippi, born in Memphis, Tennessee, who passed away on October 28, 2023, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Doyle Edward and Ruth Cameil Ellis Cardwell; and his brothers, Doyle Cardwell Jr. and Jackie Dean Cardwell. He is survived by: his uncle Hasel D. Ellis; and his nieces and nephews, Gracie Hefner (Kagan), Amber Ray, Landon Burchfield, Brylie Burchfield, Madi Burchfield and Baylee Thrasher. He is also survived by cousins, his church family and the children.
