He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Butler and Vivian Mansel Butler; and his brother Gary Tackett. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Sexton Butler of Walnut; his children, Johnny Hopper (Denise) of Saltillo, Michael Butler (Michelle) of Saltillo, Gary Ray Hopper (Angie) of Florence, AL, Junior Butler of Tuscumbia, AL, Donna Butler and Susan Butler; and his sister Sharon Warren of Saltillo. He is also survived by ten grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, four nieces, one nephew, three great nieces, four great nephews and his loyal pet.
