She was predeceased by: her parents, Cleo Sturgis and Docia Sturgis; and her sister Patricia Reid Swindell. She is survived by: her son Richard Rowton of Albuquerque; her brother C. M. Sturgis (Demetria) of Collierville; and her grandson Dax Rowton of Albuquerque. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Martin Willingham Memorial Chapel of Wells Funeral Home (340 MS-35, Batesville, MS 38606).
