He was predeceased by: his parents, Ollie Lorance Garmon, Jr. and Lillian Tubb Garmon; and his sister Mary Alice "Maggie" Garmon Monty. He is survived by: his wife Carol Garmon; his son William A. Garmon, Jr. (Sherry); his siblings, O. L. "Dockie" Garmon, III, Loretta Martin and Glenda Spiwak; and his stepchildren, Oscar, Belinda and Rene Velasquez. He is also survived by numerous extended family members and friends.
