She was loved and cherished by many people including: her mother Ganny; her children, Jim Hughes, Mitch, Mallory Hughes Sawyer, Tommy Hughes and Eli Perez; her grandchildren, David, Elizabeth Culbertson, Dylan and Anna Culbertson Bradley; her great grandchild Anna Claire Bradley; her grandson John Alexander "Alex" Culbertson; and also, Carol Merideth Sharp, Theresa Wolfe and Rodger Fontenot.
In remembrance of Ms. Merideth Hughes' life, the family asks that any charitable donations be made to the Meadville United Methodist Church Mission House Ministry, Meadville, Mississippi.
