He was predeceased by: his parents, Sidney Cecil Ponder, Sr. of Mendenhall, Mississippi. and Nellie Sue Ponder of Mendenhall, Mississippi.. He is survived by: his wife Flossie Nora Ann Ponder; his sons, Rodney David Ponder (Todd Justice) of Los Angeles and Christopher Aaron Ponder (Jackie) of Vicksburg, Mississippi.; his grandchildren, Caroline Grace Ponder, Noah David Ponder and Benjamin Joseph Ponder; and his siblings, Michael Lee Ponder (Margaret) of Mendenhall and Ella Jean Vaughn of Philadelphia, Mississippi.. He is also survived by his children and grandchildren.
