With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert Charles Clingan (Vicksburg, Mississippi), born in Canton, Mississippi, who passed away on May 19, 2022 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his former wife Nancy H. Clingan; his sons, John Hugh Clingan and Alton Howe Clingan; his parents, Alton Clingan, Sr. and Rosa Hardy Clingan; his brother Alton Clingan, Jr.; and his nephew Carl Clingan.

He is survived by: his wife Joyce Hall Clingan; his sons, Howard W. Mansfield (Kimberley) and Daryl F. Mansfield (Pamela); his grandson George Blanton Mansfield; his niece Kaye Clingan; and his nephew Keith Clingan.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Blair Batson Hospital, Jackson, MS, or Paws Rescue.
