With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Peter James Dionne (Vicksburg, Mississippi), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 16, 2024 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alexander Arthur Dionne and Margaret Irene Dionne; his son Steven Dionne; and his sisters, Lynette Toms and Linda Risco.
He is survived by: his wife Sara Carlson Dionne; his daughter Julia Blake (Nicholas); his grandsons, Patrick and Andrew Blake; and his siblings, Alex Dionne and Lillian Dean.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Glenwood Funeral Home (145 US-80, Vicksburg, MS 39180). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Michael Catholic Church (100 St Michael Pl, Vicksburg, MS 39180). A burial was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at the Redbone Cemetery (43 Burnt House Rd, Vicksburg, MS 39180).
