She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Katherine Newman Platte and Lindsey McGee Platte; and her brother Walter Lindsey Platte. She is survived by: her husband Jon Rohrke; her children, Jacqueline Newman Landes Purnell (Paul) of Madison and William M. Landes, Jr. (Scott) of Oxford; and her grandchildren, Avery, Landes Purnell and William M. Landes III.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Fisher-Riles Funeral Home (5000 Indiana Ave, Vicksburg, MS 39180). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Cedar Hill Cemetery (326 Lovers Ln, Vicksburg, MS 39183).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in her memory to the American Heart Association or the charity of your choice.
