It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Norman Wayne Fields (Vicksburg, Mississippi), who passed away on December 9, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, George W. Fields and Tommie Grace Marshall Fields; his wife Joyce D. Fields; and his brothers, Phil Ray Fields and Martel Fields.

He is survived by: his children, Michael Wayne Fields (Zena), Kenneth Edwin Fields (Patti) and Pamela Fields Walker (Larry); his grandchildren, George Anthony Fields (Deirdre), Candace Melia Fields, Kenneth Derrick Fields (Whitney), Chelsea Fields Whitfield (Bo), Sara Grace Jobe Fields (Jonathan) and Timothy Seth Jobe (Haylee); his great grandchildren, Sophia, Brindle, Raylan, George, Brock, Cooper, Layla, Virginia, Annie Kate and Brooke; and his siblings, Lloyd Fields (Beth), Sheree Clanton, Lorraine Ghrigsby (Jim) and Rebecca Logue (Michael).

Visitation was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Triumph Church of Vicksburg (136 Honeysuckle Ln, Vicksburg, MS 39183). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 at the Greenlawn Gardens Cemetery (191 US-80, Vicksburg, MS 39180).
