It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nora Catherine Dickerson English (Vicksburg, Mississippi), born in Sallis, Mississippi, who passed away on June 3, 2022, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her mother Emma Lee Waddel Dickerson; her husband Ray B. English; her grandsons, Andrew Prudhomme and Dalton Gene Rice; her father Gus Dickerson; and her siblings, Ray, Norman Dickerson, Marjorie Ferguson and Mildred Jenkins.
She is survived by: her children, Steven English (Robin) of Vicksburg, Tammy English of Brandon, MS, Lou Ann Evans (Gene) of Brandon, MS, Mitzi Busby (Chris) of Vicksburg, MS, Kimberly Joseph (David) of Vicksburg, MS and Amber Rice (Jeremy) of Vicksburg, MS; and her sister Eva Herod of Enterprise, MS. She is also survived by 25 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
