He was predeceased by: his parents, John David Hoben, Jr. and Beverly Ruth Ferguson Hoben; his brother Timmy Hoben; and his nephew Kevin Roberts. He is survived by: his fiancée Kay Atchley; his sons, Nathan Hoben (Bridgette) and Jason Hoben (Morgan); his stepson Andrew Atchley; his sister Betty Hoben Hearn Barlow (Ronnie); his grandchildren, Henley Grace Hoben, Fynnwae Claire Hoben, Jagger Gill, Jack Groover and Michael Bradley Hoben; his great grandchild Maddox Gill; his niece Courtney Baswell (Jonathan); and his nephew Carl Roberts, Jr. (Amy).
