She was predeceased by: her parents, Paschal Kirby and Mary Lou Kirby; and her siblings, Veatrice Alred, Ruth Barnes, Martha Stewart, Kenneth Kirby, Neal Kirby, Edwin Kirby and Charles Kirby.

She is survived by: her husband Clyde A. Redmon; her daughters, Angelia Hughes (Johnny) of McLouth, KS and Karen Sumrall of Vicksburg, MS; and her sister Sue Nunley of Unicoi, TN.. She is also survived by three grandchildren, five great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Monday, December 2nd 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Vicksburg Church of Christ (3333 N Frontage Rd, Vicksburg, MS 39180). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 2nd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, December 2nd 2024 at the Greenlawn Gardens Cemetery (191 US-80, Vicksburg, MS 39180).
