It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Margaret Jo Rose (Vicksburg, Mississippi), who passed away on September 19, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank William and Catherine Lassiter Meyer; her daughter Anna Catherine Rose of Jackson; her siblings, Katherine Van Norman of Vicksburg and Edward Charles Meyer of Vicksburg; her niece Katherine Turcotte; her nephews, William "Buddy" Charles Meyer, Jimmy Van Norman, Bobby Lee Ferguson Jr. and Jess Frost; and her son-in-law Leland Weissinger.

She is survived by: her children, Jean Marie Rose Weissinger of Jackson and Patrick Michael Rose of Vicksburg; her sister Mary Ann Dotson (Lee) of Vicksburg; and her niece Kathy Hooper (Bill) of Vicksburg.

Memorials may be made to St. Michael Catholic Church, the American Diabetes Association, Sisters of Mercy of the South Central Region, and Vicksburg Catholic Schools.
