It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lydia Barnes of Vicksburg, Mississippi, born in Tulsa, Oklahoma, who passed away on August 8, 2021, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene Grant and Billie Ruth Grant; and her siblings, Marion Lee Grant, Eugene Grant, Kenny Carpenter and Debbie Martinez.
She is survived by: her pet Bailey; her husband William Arthur Barnes; her children, Ann Ruth Gabriel (Thomas), Jennifer Barnes (Shane) and Christopher Darrin Booth (Marter "Marty"); her grandchildren, Angel, Christian, Katrina, Makayla, Christopher, Jr., Leah Ann, Rachel, Brian, Ashley, Brandi, Nicole, Natalie, Nathan and Skylee; and her sisters, Judy Carpenter and Melinda Cundey. She is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren.
