We are sad to announce that on June 29, 2021 we had to say goodbye to Lee Thames of Vicksburg, Mississippi. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Chancellor James and Susan Davis Thames; and his children, Kendall Spencer, Hampton Thames, Amzi Thames, Mary Louise McGuire, Marshall Thames, Holley Lutz, Lee Thames and Fletcher Thames. He was also cherished by his sixteen grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Campaign to Restore and Preserve the Memorial Windows at The Church of the Holy Trinity.

“Jane and children, I was saddened to Learn of Lee Davis' death. It has been quite a while since I saw him last so I had lost touch. He was a good friend, a man of high principles, faithful Episcopalian, excellent lawyer, and on and on; a blessing to know. He will be missed by many. Unfortunately, I will not be able to get to his funeral as I don't travel quite as easily as I used to, but I will be with you in spirit on July 6. With kindest regards. Lauch”
